About Julie
Putting the individual's experience at the heart of how we approach architectural and interior design is key to my work. Considering the small things that make your home a personal reflection of you makes the finished product meaningful.
Having had over thirty years in the property business, from facilities management to property acquisition and renovations, rental accommodation and construction, I have a keen eye for what is achievable to remodel and create perfect space, I firmly believe in prioritising the individual experience as we approach architectural and interior design. It's important to pay attention to the small details that make a home a true reflection of the person living in it. With over thirty years of experience in the property business, including facilities management, property acquisition and renovations, rental accommodation, and construction, I possess a keen eye for creating perfect spaces.
I particularly enjoy integrating the outdoors with indoor living spaces, as well as designing cosy areas in spaces with limited natural light and open, airy spaces when the project allows. Both types of spaces have their distinct places within a home. Blending old and new pieces to style a room, I believe adds depth and character to the space. An antique table in a kitchen or a vintage armchair in a room or hallway always brings a unique story to the space. Our outside space is as important as the inside, linking the garden to the home when considering social living spaces is a great of enjoying nature all year round.
If you have a room where the light only shines for a short period, then don't spend time trying to make a bright breezy space, it will never happen. Instead embrace the darkness, by using deeper colours and creating a cosy space for evenings by the television or somewhere to sit with friends.
I create interiors that are as unique as the people who live and work in them. My customer-focused approach blends colour psychology, personal style, and a touch of the unexpected encouraging clients to step outside their comfort zones with statement wallpapers, quirky fabrics, and carefully curated pieces.
Your home should tell your story, which is why my consultations are based on your lifestyle, hobbies, and colour preferences. I love mixing old and new to create depth whether it’s a beloved heirloom chair or a modern center-piece, well make it work beautifully.
Beyond homes, I design inviting breakout spaces for commercial settings and cosy, character-filled interiors for bars and coffee shops. Whether it’s a playful nook in a workspace or a warm, welcoming cafe corner, my designs encourage connection and comfort.
Let’s bring your space to life in a way that feels truly you.
