Blending the old and new
We were very pleased to be awarded the work for this project.
At JN interiors, we enjoy blending the old and the new. We have been privileged to be part of many amazing transformations in Riverside and surrounding areas on Victorian properties. This was no exception.
THE PROJECT
The layout of the ground floor had the typical side return to the rear which, leaves a dead space with little light and of little use.
An extension, which saw the space become part of the kitchen area was erected. Originally a fully glazed roof was designed, however, it was decided that roof lights spaced periodically would be more practical.
THE RESULT
On completion of the building the client has some queries about finishes, design, and colours. We provided the client with a colour scheme to compliment the grey tones the client had decided upon for the area. We then sourced tiles from Fired Earth which worked well with the green splashes of colour in the sitting area.
